If your toothbrush fell in the toilet, would you throw it away or rinse it off and continue using it? Well, get this, 9% of men said they would fish the toothbrush out of the toilet and use it again, according to a survey by dental products manufacturer Philips Sonicare. In addition, almost half of all adults said that if their toothbrush fell on the floor, they would use it again — even though they acknowledged that their bathroom floor is the dirtiest floor in the house.  I also took calls from people who share thier toothbrush with their spouse…huh?  I’m sorry but that’s not right, go buy a $3 toothbrush for yourself!

Talk about sharing!  I ran across an article that was about the new “TwoDaLoo”. It’s world’s first simultaneous-flush two-seater toilet, and it’s perfect for couples who don’t hide anything from each other. Supposedly, It brings couples closer together and conserves our water supply all with one flush. The TwoDaLoo features two side-by-side toilet seats with a modest privacy wall in between. An upgraded version includes a seven inch LCD television and iPod docking station. What is next?

I found this study to be pretty disturbing, although 92% of American adults say they always wash their hands after using public restrooms, the reality is that just 77% actually do so, according to a recent study by Harris Interactive. When broken down by gender, 88% of women washed their hands, but only 66% of men did so! Want more?86% wash their hands after using the bathroom at home.

Remember how people have fun trying to figure out how old their dog was in human years? But now there’s a new fad. Figuring out how old your car is, in “people-years”. We had fun calculating our listeners “car age”.  I found out that one of my vehicles will need diapers soon!  Here’s the formula:

1. Take the mileage on the car’s odometer and divide by the model year.
2. The result is your car’s age if it were a person.
3. Example: a 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier with 131,824 miles on it.
4. Do the math: 131824/1994 = 66.1.
5. That car would be a 66 year old person

Veterinary Pet Insurance, the country’s largest provider of pet health insurance, recently reviewed its database of more than 466 thousand pets to find the most popular and most unusual dog and cat names of the past year. The name “Max” was the most popular name for both cats and dogs. Animals not insured by VPI were not included in the survey.
