NOPE!  Why would there be?  Two totally different worlds, and that’s why we love country music, right?  But I do have two very different reactions to the wedding from some country girls.   Miranda Lambert, who ties the knot in about 2 weeks herself, says she’s obsessed with the royal wedding, and she was planning to set her alarm this morning to catch the whole thing. 

On the other hand, Kellie Pickler, who eloped with her love on New Year’s Day to escape the hassles of a big wedding, says she feels sorry for the royal couple.  “I feel so sorry that on the most important, most beautiful day of their life, it has to be just an open book to the whole world. I mean, they deserve to have their intimate ceremony to their close ones and loved ones. It’s so sad that they get stalked by the paparazzi and the media the way they do. I couldn’t imagine. I know what it’s like on my end, and it’s not even in comparison to what they have to go through.”

Prince William married a commoner.  What if the commoner were Snooki from Jersey Shore?

Here’s the first official pic of LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian’s wedding:

LeAnn looks lovely in a handmade Reem Acra gown, and though you can’t see it in the photo, she wore a $250,000 antique pin to close up the gown (That’s so weird!  I wore a $250,000 pin to my wedding, too!  Or maybe it was $25, I can’t remember.)  According to friends who attended, the newlyweds’ speeches went a little something like this:  Eddie:  “Someone loves the f****** microphone and that’s me! We’ve both had much larger weddings before, about 100-150 people both, but we just wanted our closest of friends and family here with us tonight. The next one will be ever smaller though.”  Then LeAnn joined in with “”I love you all…Now let’s have some cake, bitches!”

The Band Perry announced these this morning on the Today show with Kathie Lee and Hoda.  Top nominees for the award show, which will air on June 8th on CMT.  Top names on the list are Jason Aldean, who has four noms, and The Band Perry, Lady A, Rascal Flatts, Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift and Zac Brown Band, who each got three noms.  Check out the full list right here.

Okay, I was soooooo sick of the ads for this show that I was kind of tired of it before it even aired. But it won me over pretty quickly, I must say! The idea, in case you somehow haven’t heard, is that singers audition to the backs of the judges, so the judges can’t see the contestants until they commit to them. Watching the judges fight over the good singers was fun…they’re must form teams of singers and compete against each other. Blake Shelton told us that one of the reasons he agreed to do the show is that they don’t want to censor him or make him tone it down, and so far this seems true. Since “TheVoice” was the #1 trending topic in the world on Twitter last night, I have a feeling this one’s a hit!

I laugh my butt off every time they do that Miley Cyrus skit on SNL.  Jason Sudeikis plays Billy Ray Cyrus, and he’s always falling over himself to agree with whatever Miley says.  A few weeks back, Miley gave her blessing to the skit by appearing in it, dressed as Justin Bieber.  But I can’t help wondering, what does Billy Ray think of it?  Turns out he likes it as much as I do.  “I love it,” he says. “I laugh my head off when I see it.  Because you know there’s that saying that imitation is the highest form of flattery.”  Not so sure I’d call this flattery, but glad Billy Ray is a good sport about it!
