Yesterday I told you that John Rich is expecting his first child with wife Joan.  He confirmed the fact, then said he wouldn’t say much more about it.  But an intrepid reporter for Nashville Gab found a registry at Babies R Us for John and Joan Rich, which reveals the following:  They’re expecting a boy in January, and here’s the thing I find surprising:  They’re naming him Cash.  Now I love that name, and I love Johnny Cash, and I can see why you’d want to name your kid after him, but CASH RICH?  I guess it’s better than Filthy.

People magazine is giving away 10 tracks of country music that you can download by clicking here.  Why?  I have no idea.  Actually I think it’s probably tied in with their latest country music edition of the magazine, but why ask questions?  Just go download the songs, which include Jason Aldean’s “She’s Country,” Big Kenny’s new single, and stuff by Bucky Covington, Terri Clark, and more.

…and soon you’ll have wildflowers.  I’ve truly never heard of anything quite like this:  When you buy the deluxe edition of Big Kenny’s upcoming solo CD “The Quiet Times of a Rock ‘n’ Roll Farm Boy,” (oct. 27th), you can take the packaging, put it in the dirt, water it, and get a nice little crop of wildflowers.  How cool is that?  If you don’t believe me, check this out:
