Now that he’s promoting his new CD, Blake is out and about, and as you can imagine some pretty interesting things are popping out of his mouth.  Some of my favorites are right here in this video from US Weekly, where Blake is teamed up with some gossip dude, seemingly against his will, commenting on stories he doesn’t seem to care about:

Of course everyone also wants to know about Miranda, and he says that they’re actually getting to a point where they could consider getting married. He even says they went to Tiffany’s to look at rings, but when Miranda showed him the one she wanted, the price tag on it ($450k) put any plans Blake had on hold.

We’ve already seen naked pictures of him (okay, he was about 7 months old). 

Now more skin from Brad.  But this time, it’s purple skin.  Just to make sure we didn’t think he was a wuss for going to the hospital after his big spill on stage last weekend, Brad shows us the monster bruise he got when he landed on his guitar:

Blake Shelton has admitted that he has a problem…an addiction even.  And he’s had to quit cold turkey.  Drinking?  No way!  Tweeting.  Now before you get all mad at me for making a big deal out of nothing, let me explain a little.  If you spend any time on Twitter, you know that Blake was all over it.  He was perhaps the only country star who would get a tweet like “Blake, you suck!”  from some random person and actually respond to it.  Well as it turns out, Blake says he got to a point where Twitter was taking over his life a bit.  Many days, he says, he was Tweeting over 100 times, and it was getting to be kind of an addiction.  So he took the Twitter app off his phone and went cold turkey.  No Tweeting now for over 2 weeks!  He doesn’t rule out the idea of returning some day to the networking site, but hey, one day at a time, Blake.

Trace Adkins is 6 feet 5 inches tall and doesn’t suffer fools gladly, to say the least.  So who would dare mess with the guy on purpose?  How about his “Hillbilly Bone” duet partner, Blake Shelton, who is equally as tall, and also fearless when drunk?  Here’s what Blake says happened during the shoot for the “Hillbilly Bone” video:

“I’ve known Trace for a long time.  And here’s one thing I know about him: I know exactly what buttons to push with him to really get him mad at me. As the day went on on that shoot, there were some hot girls they brought in to be in the restaurant [scene]. And I started getting drunk — they were bringing these bottles of wine out and said, ‘Drink right out of the bottle and be out of place,’ and it was real wine. So I started getting flirty with Trace, because he’s got the long, sexy hair. He started getting mad at me as I started to hug on him and kiss on his cheek in front of all these good-looking girls.”

“He [said], ‘I swear, you touch me one more time and I really will rip your head off.’ He was getting mad! If you watch the video and know that you can tell by the end. You can tell it was like, ‘Alright, Trace, well I guess we’ll see you la…,’ and he was gone. But it’s always been that way with he and I.”

Blake Shelton is looking for ways to get his music to his fans quickly and cheaply. So for his new song, “Hillbilly Bone,” his duet with Trace Adkins, he plans to release what he is calling a “six-pack” of tunes that will be cheaper than a CD. Though we don’t have an exact price yet, the release date will be March 2nd.

Blake Shelton has a very clear reason why he no longer cares what people think about him:  “The truth is I finally got all my (crap) paid off…once you get everything paid off, it’s like, ‘who cares if you all don’t like (my record)?”  He goes on to say that “It’s puzzled me why country artists have to be so politically correct.  I mean, I’m not a politician.  If  I’m going to sing about drinking and raising hell then you have to know deep down inside that’s what I do.”  And of course, anyone who follows Blake on Twitter knows that is definitely true.

Two new duets I found out about from Twitter:  1)  Taylor Swift and John Mayer.  He’s that singer that always dates big stars like Jen Aniston and Jessica Simpson, ad a while back he tweeted that he had writen a song called “Half of My Heart” that would sound great as a duet with Taylor.  Turns out that’s exactly what happened, and the song will be on his next CD, which comes out in November.  2)  Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins.  Two great voices that will sound great together?  I think so.  The song is called “Hillbilly Bone” and Blake has been hinting via tweets that it will be his next single.  Then an actor in Nashville tweeted about getting a role in the video, so there you go!
