Yes, if it’s the crap of an Indonesian Civet. As sort of a joke, Brad Paisley’s band gave him some “kopi luwak,” an expensive and rare coffee drink that is derived from the poop of a cat-like animal that eats the fruit of the coffee plant. Brad says this delicacy his favorite morning beverage now! Good thing he can afford it…it’s at least $100 a pound.

Congrats to Justin Moore, who just became a daddy for the first time.  He and his wife scheduled a C-section so that he could be there for the birth of his daughter, and everything went perfectly.  Little Ella Kole weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces, and everyone is doing fine.  Now Justin can go back to opening for Brad Paisley.

Good news item #2 comes from Brad Paisley…he’s just scored his 12th #1 song in a row with “American Saturday Night.”  Four more in a row and he’ll tie the record set by hall-of-famer Sonny James with 16.

Brad Paisley has collaborated with some of the greatest people in country music:  Dolly Parton, Keith Urban, Alison Kraus, etc. etc.  But he still hasn’t gotten to work with the guy of his dreams:  Eric Clapton.  Now this makes perfect sense because Brad is famous for his guitar chops and Eric is one of the greatest guitar players alive today.  Brad says he’s never even met Eric, but he figures if he just keeps saying it again and again, that Eric will give in and work with him.  I think it would be a wise choice for Eric, who’s not exactly huge on the radio.  I’ll bet you anything he and Brad could throw down a #1 country hit.

Pretty good stats:  Brad Paisley’s “Welcome to the Future” has just become his 11th consecutive #1 single.  That’s not an easy feat, but he’s done it.  Let me count them down for you in reverse order:  ‘Then,’ ‘Start a Band,’ ‘Waitin’ on a Woman,’ ‘Ticks,’ ‘Online,’ ‘Letter to Me,’ ‘I’m Still a Guy,’ ‘The World,’ ‘She’s Everything’ and ‘Alcohol.’  Yipee!

Maybe it’s the trouble at home and the drama at work that’s turning David Letterman into a country fan? After declaring a few months back that Billy Currington’s “People Are Crazy” was the best song ever created, and then having Tim McGraw on his show twice in one week, he’s topping himself this week with a full week of country music on the show:

Monday: Carrie Underwood
Tuesday: Brad Paisley
Wednesday: Alternative dude Ryan Bingham
Thursday: Keith Urban
Friday: Bluegrass legend Ralph Stanley

One of the reasons Taylor Swift will always be loved in my house is that she wrote my daughter a sweet thank you note after meeting her.  That doesn’t happen too often with your superstars.  But then, neither does this:  Tim and Amber Brown were at a Brad Paisley show in Florida when for no apparent reason they were upgraded to the front row.  Someone from Brad’s camp also told them to stick around after the show to go backstage.  Well of course they did, and found Brad himself waiting for them with some keys in his hand…keys to a brand new truck!  Turns out the Browns were Brad’s 1 millionth ticket buyer for the year, and he just wanted to thank them.  Sheeesh!  With Tim in the Navy and Amber expecting their third child, they say that truck is “a blessing,” and a wonderful surprise.

Brad Paisley just posted this “scandalous” naked pic of himself on Twitter.  The caption below was written by him…
