The results are in for the annual “Country Weekly” poll, and the winner of the hottest bachelor award is….Gary Allan!  I have to say I kind of agree with this assessment.  In recent years, Chris Young kept winning this prize even though he didn’t have a hit record yet (avid fans from “Nashville Star.”)  This year he’s #2.  The rest of the top 10 is as follows:  #3 Josh Thompson (“Beer on the Table”),  #4 Chuck Wicks, #5  Keith Anderson, #6  Danny Gokey, #7  Bucky Covington, #8  Jake Owen (thought he’d be higher up for some reason), #9 Phil Vassar and #10  Stephen Barker Liles from Love and Theft (of “Hey Stephen” fame).

Tim McGraw, Sandra Bullock’s co-star from “The Blind Side,” says he’s thinking of her, but hasn’t reached out to her since hearing about her split from her alleged-cheater husband, Jesse James. Tim says Sandy is “tough”, and that he thinks all this will turn her into an even stronger person.

Then there’s  Gary Allan!  Gary is one of the few celebs I’ve heard who doesn’t have that much sympathy for America’s Sweetheart.  Here’s what our favorite tattooed country star says about the dude who cheated with a tattoo model:  “Why is everybody shocked?…They’re acting like it’s Tiger.  Tiger shocked us, but Jesse James was married to a porn star, so it seems to me like Sandra Bullock bought into the circus and she’s standing in the middle of the arena going, ‘What?’”  Gary also suspects that Jesse may have the same addiction problem that Tiger does.

Gary allan’s new CD, “Get Off on the Pain,” is in stores this week.  There’s one song on there that Gary says he loves, but he may never play.  It’s called “No Regrets,” and it’s a tribute to his wife Angela, who committed suicide.  Gary says that while she was alive,  Angela always wanted him to write songs about her and he never did.  But now that she’s gone, he’s writing a ton of songs about her.  The only trouble is, he’s just not sure he can get through the songs live without getting too emotional.

No, it’s not an interview about all of Gary Allan’s many tats. It’s actually an interview about his new CD, “Get Off on the Pain,” which comes out on March 9th. But during the interview, he’s getting another tattoo! And he doesn’t even flinch. Check it out here:
