Here’s a strange but nice story:  Justin Moore was doing a show in Royal Oak, Mississippi (is that where the charcoal comes from?)  on Friday, and someone stole his guitar right off the stage.  As you can imagine, he was not happy.  Here’s what he Tweeted:

“Great show in Mississippi tonight.  But somebody stole my guitar off stage.  Please own up.  It means more to me than you know.  It’s worth fightin’ over.  I’ll give you my address.  If anybody knows anything, please let me know!”

Well, it worked!  Because yesterday Justin Tweeted this:

“I got my guitar!  Thank y’all for all your help too!  And thank you to the guy for doing the right thing.”

Now that’s an interesting situation.  Because you are definitely grateful to the guy for wising up and doing the right thing, but you are also mad at him for stealing it in the first place.  So what do you do?  Punch him in the face and then hug him?

Congrats to Justin Moore, who just became a daddy for the first time.  He and his wife scheduled a C-section so that he could be there for the birth of his daughter, and everything went perfectly.  Little Ella Kole weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces, and everyone is doing fine.  Now Justin can go back to opening for Brad Paisley.

Good news item #2 comes from Brad Paisley…he’s just scored his 12th #1 song in a row with “American Saturday Night.”  Four more in a row and he’ll tie the record set by hall-of-famer Sonny James with 16.

All Justin Moore had to do was mention country outlaw David Allen Coe in a song, and next thing you know he’s performing with him!  Justin is a huge fan of Coe, so he made sure to give him a shout-out in his #1 song “Small Town USA.”  David heard the song, called Justin, and invited him to open for him at a show next month!  So If I were Justin, I’d start thinking about other people or things I could mention in my songs, just to see if they’d show up as well.
