When I heard that a woman lunged at LeAnn Rimes on the streets of LA, I assumed it was the ex of her current boyfriend, Eddie Cibrian. In fact, it was a homeless woman known as “The Queen on the Scene.” She makes a modest living in Hollywood by offering to protect stars from the paparazzi for tips. But sometimes she ends up harrassing the stars more than the photogs, as in this situation with LeAnn Rimes. Cops were called and the woman was arrested for her attempts to connect with LeAnn.

Well, not to get married, but to get divorced.  LeAnn and her estranged hubby Deane Sheremet have actually set an exact date for their divorce to go final, and it’s June 19, 2010.  So I guess starting this June, LeAnn can start dating again?

Eddie Cibrian is FURIOUS at “Life & Style” for reporting that he cheated on LeAnn Rimes with an actress named Scheana Marie Jancan.  True, he left his wife for LeAnn after the two of them began an extra-marital affair, but he does not want anyone to think he cheats on LeAnn.  So here’s the statement from his camp:  “Unfortunately, ‘Life and Style’ has chosen to go out with a story filled with in accuracies and deceitful lies…this is irresponsible and reckless journalism.  Eddie has met with his attorneys and will be filing a suit for libel and other grounds.”

LeAnn Rimes says she’s writing lots of songs these days, and as you can imagine, some of the craziness of her life is going to be documented in those songs one way or another.  All she will say is that the new stuff is “down the middle between heartbreak and love,” which I guess means she’ll be singing about her affair with married actor Eddie Cibrian as well as the end of her marriage to Dean Sheremet.  LeAnn says the people she writes music with her her close friends, so writing session often turn into therapy sessions.
