LeAnn Rimes put on a super-skimpy santa suit for a crowd of men, but none of them were falling all over her…probably because it was the LA Gay Mens Chorus, and she was performing with them for a holiday benefit.  Check out the way she posed on Twitter:

Whoa.  Anyway, it sounds like it was a lovely show, and after a few holiday songs LeAnn did eventually put some clothes on and get serious.  She sang “The Rose”, which she dedicated to all the young gay and lesbian kids who have taken their lives this year.  Her BF Eddie Cibrian was in the crowd cheering her on, so come to think of it there was one guy there who was enjoying the sexy santa suit.

Is she tired of everyone calling her a homewrecker? Is she fed up with all of the bad press? No, she’s furious for some reason that E! reported she and Eddie are engaged. This from the woman who tweeted a pic last week of Eddie on one knee….

It was a joke, people!!!  Come on! So when E! reported that the two were engaged, LeAnn went on a Twitter rampage, calling out their reporters by name, saying they ought to be investigated for reporting such lies.  Sheesh!  It’s not the worst thing that’s ever been said about them.  Why the big deal?  Well E!  has shot back and says that LeAnn and Eddie really are engaged, but the reason they’re so honked off is that they had planned to sell the scoop as an exclusive to some other outlet, so E!’s report cost them some dough.  No idea whether that’s true and we’ll probably never know, but there you go.

ABC’s Robin Roberts is a big country fan, and in the past few years she has started to develop kind of a Barbara Walters style in her interviews with them, trying to get the to admit things they haven’t admitted to anyone else.  Last night was he pre-CMAs special, and was LeAnn Rimes’ turn:

On second thought, has it ever NOT been ugly?  I’m talking about LeAnn Rimes and Brandi Glanville, the ex of LeAnn’s current beau Eddie Cibrian and mother of his kids.  Ever since Eddie’s relationship with LeAnn began DURING his marriage to Brandi (and Eddie and Brandi totally stood together as he publicly denied it), it hasn’t always been smooth sailing for Eddie, LeAnn and Brandi to co-parent the two boys, ages 7 and 3.  Brandi’s latest complaint about LeAnn is that she tweets stuff about the kids, often important stuff that she, Brandi, doesn’t even know about yet.  Example:  A recent LeAnn tweet read, “”Flew home for 5 hrs to see Eddie & the lil one’s and ended up in the ER! Everybody’s fine, just a minor kiddo accident. Boys will be boys!”  This was how Brandi found out that her son had slipped and split his chin open on the hardwood floor in LeAnn’s home.  But Brandi’s not above going public with the situation herself.  She calls this “bad parenting” and also wants the world to know that last time Eddie and LeAnn had the kids the younger one had to go get 7 stitches after he fell in LeAnn’s tour bus.  Isn’t this all fun?  Yikes.

I’m talking about Eddie Cibrian, and yes, I am being a little bit snarky.  According to People, LeAnn Rimes’ boyfriend has moved in to her house, which means that his two boys will also be living there part of the time as he has partial custody.  LeAnn’s spokseperson says “they’re excited for this happy new journey.”  Why am I still so judgemental?  I guess because kids are involved, and the whole “two houses” thing is a very delicate matter that probably shouldn’t be talked about or spun by a spokesperson.  However, I probably need to move on and start judging someone else.  By the way, LeAnn quit Twitter for a while, but now she has returned to chat about stuff like this and give her side of the story.  Like this tweet: “”Of all the rumors reported in the last 48 hours, People got it right! Thx for fairly and honestly reporting private, but happy news!”

That’s the latest tweet from LeAnn Rimes, who has been using Twitter a lot lately to defend her actions with her still-technically-married boyfriend Eddie Cibrian.  The latest message is a response to people who I guess were hating on her because of this picture in US Magazine:

It’s certainly not a crime to kiss your boyfriend, and I would have to agree with the rest of LeAnn’s tweet: (“Who’s right was it to take pics of us in a private moment and display them for judgement?!”)  It’s certainly true that the paparazzi are constantly invading celebs’ privacy.  But I think if I were there at that hotel pool, I might have been a little creeped out by the PDA so close and cozy with the toddler.  But that’s just me, judging again.

First of all, we can learn from recent bikini shots of LeAnn Rimes that she has a smokin’ bod.  Her abs are so cut she almost looks like one of those greek statues of naked…dudes!  Seriously, she’s got those cuts that you usually only see on the hips of really fit men.

But aside from the toned abs, we also noticed a few tattoos peeking out of her bikini.  One of them is pretty hard to figure out:  looks like someone whose name starts with “J” autographed her pelvis and she got it inked.  My friend Shannon at Nashville Gab did some sleuthing and got a close-up of it, and I think we may have all figured it out:  it’s a quote from a Maya Angelou poem, “Still I Rise.”  So now the big question is, don’t we all have better things to do than figure this stuff out?  Apparently not.

Homewrecker.  In an interview this week with People, LeAnn says, “The hardest thing to hear is someone call either of us a home wrecker because we didn’t walk into a perfectly happy marriage and ruin it.”

Okay, but having said that, she adds, “I take responsibility for everything I’ve done. I hate that people got hurt. But I don’t regret the outcome.”

Her romance with the married-with-kids Eddie Cibrian began a few months after they made a Lifetime movie together, she says.  “It was very emotionally driven. I never once thought what I was doing was OK…I was out of balance. My marriage was out of balance. There was something missing.”

Meanwhile, LeAnn says she and Eddie plan to stick together:  “I don’t know what the future holds, but I know it holds Eddie. I’m really happy. I’ve moved on, and I hope there can be some forgiveness and acceptance.”

I’m biting my tongue.  Having never broken up a marriage, I tend to be a little bit of a judger of both Eddie and LeAnn on this one.  So I’m not saying anything more.  Done.

Who? What? LeAnn Rimes has sent a “cease and desist” letter to the estranged wife of her current boyfriend, Eddie Cibrian. She’s mad because she says Brandi Glanville is slandering her. Apparently the estranged wife doesn’t always have nice things to say about the woman her husband left her for. So If Brandi doesn’t respond within five days to LeAnn’s letter, LeAnn will sue her for slander. Isn’t this all just lovely? The “source” who leaked this to E! said that this comes after months of Brandi “telling lies. This is a reaction, something she felt necessary to do to protect herself.”

Us Weekly mag is reporting (and everyone else is re-reporting) the irresistible news that two of last year’s most famous cheaters, LeAnn Rimes and Tiger Woods, were actually an item back in 2002! The source in the story also says that Daddy Rimes broke up the pair because he was upset that Tiger was 7 years older than LeAnn (she was 20, he was 27). So Super-Genius Amy here did the math, and here’s what I’ve figured out: First of all, according to their bios, LeeAnn met her future hubby Dean in 2001 and married him in 2002. Tiger also met his future wife in 2001, but they weren’t engaged until 2003. So if, in fact, LeAnn and Tiger were together, it was after they had met — and possibly were dating — their spouses. Hmmmmm…not sure what to believe here. And I’ve got to wonder what LeAnn’s dad thinks now that she’s with someone who’s NINE years older…and married…with kids.
