This is not the “stay away from me” kind of restraining order, it’s the “stop talking about me” kind.  After an appearance by her ex, Craig Schelske, on Anderson Cooper’s  show in which he claimed that he lost custody of his kids because Sara falsely accused him of cheating and being obsessed with porn, Sara went straight to a judge.  She filed a new restraining order (to replace an old one) that prevents Craig from publicly discussing this stuff.  The judge agreed with Sara and signed the new one right away.  Naturally, Craig’s going to fight it.  You might recall things have been awfully ugly between these two since their very public split in 2007.  Mike’s question was, why on earth was Craig on Anderson’s show?  The answer, so far as I can tell, is that he has become an activist for dads’ rights in custody battles.

When you hear Sara Evans sing “A Little Bit Stronger,” you can hear it in her voice that she LIVED that song.  Which is probably why it’s #1 for the second week in a row.  But whose story is it really?  Get this!  Hillary Scott’s!  The Lady A singer co-wrote that song right after a bad split, and…oh here, I’ll let her explain:

“When I wrote it, I was barely a month out of a really, really bad breakup. It’s very autobiographical … one of the most personal songs that I’ve ever written. It was personal when I wrote it, but now that it’s actually out there, it takes it to another level. I’m sure he [my ex] has heard it, but that’s OK because the song’s about ‘everyday without you, I’m a little bit stronger,’ which is true. So, he can hear that. That’s OK.”

Hillary is very happy in a new relationship, now, by the way.  And of course so is Sara!

REBA’S WITH BLAKE:  She’ll be helping him out on upcoming episodes of the already very popular singing show “The Voice.”  Not tonight (9PM, ch during auditions, but in a few weeks when they get to the “battle” part of the show.  Each coach gets to pick a pal to help out, so Blake picked Reba.

SHANIA’S ON OPRAH:  Shania’s got a book out today (“From This Moment On”) and a new TV series that starts on Oprah’s network this Sunday.  So Today she’ll join Oprah (4PM, Ch to give us titillating tidbits that will make us want to read and watch  more.

SARA’S ON TOP:  YAY for Sara Evans.  Her great song “Stronger” has just topped both country music charts.  The comeback is now official. 

KENNY’S ON TOP OF GAGA:  Lady Gaga’s “Little Monsters” tour has been HUGE.  Who could top it?  How ’bout Kenny Chesney?  His “Goin’ Coastal” tour just beat out Gag’s (oops! I meant “Gaga’s”!  that was an honest typo, but I just had to leave it in) tour, grossing $6.5 million in one week.  That’s the highest grossing tour out there, and it’s about a million more than Gaga made.

Part two – the answer: Sara Evans pt2 HHS 2010-10-28 8-34a

Okay, this is odd.  TMZ has released a story about Sara Evans, her ex husband Craig Schelske and her current hubby Jay Barker, who tried to do what I can only call a text-orcism on Craig.

Let me explain.  Craig is filing papers to change the terms of his custody agreement, because he says Jay and Sara are trying to basically poison the kids against him.  As evidence of the kind of abuse he’s allegedly been taking from Jay, Craig produced these text messages he got from Jay:  “Satan is controlling your thoughts and actions. You are what Jesus stood against … The things I have seen with my own mind is a man possessed by Satan … Away from us Satan!!!”  Whoa, dude.  If those are real, I have to say that Jay has gone a little overboard.  Craig also wants a gag order placed on Sara and Jay so they can’t say stuff like that to him when the kids are around.  It’s never been a civilized split, but this kind of takes things to a new level, I’d say.

It’s been 2 years since Sara Evans and her husband, Craig Schelske, called it quits, but the legal wrangles continue.  Sara has filed a restraining order against Craig in an attempt to stop him from making derogatory comments about what led to their divorce.  But Craig has recently found a way around that by going on a radio show and saying negative stuff about Sara’s lawyers, and all the bad stuff Sara’s LAWYERS have been saying about him.  That’s fun stuff right there!  Sara is remarried and has definitely moved on, but the nastiness continues between those two.
